Artificial Blood Could Save Lives
Researchers in Maryland and Missouri have created a fake red blood cell that can carry oxygen around your body. The idea is that you'd just mix it with water to make a blood substitute. It's still being tested and it won't be able to replace donated blood completely. But scientists say it could help save lives in the future.
