Bobby ray finch, 30, was shot and killed while driving his new acura. Two days later two men known to be members of the mapiro were gunned down working on a car. The crime sweep involved 300 officers from ten agencies at more than 37 locations in the compton, linwin and longbeach areas. No one was charged with any of those killings.
