Dating texting is all about playing emotional tennis back and forth. Pivoting to what somebody is saying, i call that mirroring. I feel like men like it when girls are a little more spunky than cocky. It's interesting how confidence is seen in women and men in different ways. In the work place of a woman, sometimes she can seem bitchy right? And that's not fair because men just look assertive in that situation. But maybe for your point, maybe what's confident for a woman seems cocky if you have fun with it.
