Is There a Moral Disapproval of Artwork?
The aesthetic dimension you just mentioned, the deep commitment to beauty and holiness, had wrapped in it from what I'm understanding here, a sort of moral disgust towards things. And this, I think, is something clearly that contrasts with anything and a lot of the contemporary imagination who just sees art almost always in craft, functionalist and disconnected from any kind of transcendence.
