In 2007 you created the Arab and Muslim ethnicities in diaspora studies program at San Francisco State University. That is something that ended up provoking so much attack from the Israel lobby over the years. Why do you think your creation of this program at the university was seen as so threatening? And how was it connected to this sort of broader imperialist attack on anything in academia that challenges colonialism? Yeah, thank you, Aranya.
