How to Trade a Complex Consolidation Pattern
A complex consolidation pattern that sets up for many bars and then breaks out in the direction of a previous trend. You would find that if you look, you know, maybe like three to five bars, there's going to be a directional edge to that pattern. If we go out 15 bars, it's not there. That will be a pattern that will have a larger forecast horizon. So long as you're kind of within the forecast horizon where your pattern has power, to some extent you can choose your wind ratio by setting your profit target.
