There's a lot of funny stories about the Greek philosophers and poets which bad poetry involved involved amusing deaths. He jumped into a live volcano in the presence of his students. I just think of all the murder mysteries or the person really isn't dead. You know, they get killed and we think, I can't believe that character got killed, but then they're not dead. But apparently he really did this. And so here I guess he's saying that different media are going to sort of manifest this poetic representation in slightly different ways.
