How Does Locke's Theology of Creation Play Out in the Book of Revelation?
In many respects, I think he was a bit prophetic because the enlightenment, the age of reason, and the enlightenment came to say, reason has to replace revelation. He said that reason could deteriorate into the worst kind of reasoning. And if you don't begin with creation at really the basis, the fundamental of everything, the reason deteriorates into tyranny. But once you have creation always there, then there are limits. There's limits of power, there's limits of property.
