The Importance of Spiritual Formation During a Crisis

Crisis brings out, maybe a better way to say crisis brings about the deepest spiritual formation by necessity. It's either, I guess, sink or swim when it comes to spiritual development during a time of crisis. So what spiritual formation practices should people turn to during this time? Well, I think obviously scripture study. And I think that as much as possible, we need to do our scripture study in the presence of people who have been left behind.
