The Different Types of Value-Based Care Programs
We work with a number of different value-based care programs across public and private payers. And so I think the entire system is kind of learning how these programs work, which ones are most effective. We looked at just the what we call like supply side models, primes,. These are programs that are really primarily focused on provider behavior but not targeting members directly through things like high deductible plans or narrow networks. Then we looked at savings and shared risk models in which certain group of providers will have accountability for managing the spending and often quality for population of members. Finally, we looked at for partial competition, which is similar to share savings and sharedrisk except that we thought it was like full
