Local Systems Delivers Food All Over the Country
Local systems is a company that delivers food all over the country. The workers involved called on other Teamsters in the area around where the strike was going and said, come help us join our picket line. As part of this settlement, the company withdrew the injunction. No truck driver threatened with any kind of legal action will have to face any of it because that's what the workers demanded. They gave these truck drivers an enormous increase. 30% over two or three years if my information is correct. Much better driving conditions, much better working conditions.
