Is Trump's Position on Concrete Facts More Important Than Objective Reality?
I think some of it is kind of psychological transference from Trump. The only thing that makes facts real are the facts that he wants to hear, even when they're not facts. All Trump wanted was a statement from the Ukrainian government that they were investigating corruption. And then Trump would use that as all the leverage he needed in the for the January six stuff. There is no legitimizing independent authority that can tell you to cool it.
