How to Push Through a Big Failure

The older you get, the harder it is to pull yourself away from your comfort zone. What I have to do is put myself into a position where I'm trying something that I don't really know whether or not it's gonna work. And that sometimes it fails and I stop it. It's interesting that most businesses that create any form of product make a huge investment in R&D but graphic designers can't because they're always fulfilling some kind of contract.
