A new study about gender dysphoria published in the journal The Archives of Sexual Behavior was just retracted after pro-trans activists pressured and badgered the journal to withdraw it. This is far from the first time that political agendas have limited the range of what is permissible when it comes to scholarship and study, particularly on the issue of transgender rights. We will speak with the author of this now-attracted study, Northwestern Professor of Psychology, Michael Bailey, about the latest pressure campaign and what it means for academic freedom.
