The New Gun and Good Constitutionalism
Every now and then Republicans will come forward and say let's amend the constitution balance budget amendment gay marriage amendment or sanctity marriage or whatever. All of a sudden all of these very prominent Democrats would say whoa whoaWhoa let's not tinker with the majesty and brilliance of the founding fathers they knew what they were doing right. It was such a profoundly hypocritical argument from people who had no problem with nine justices who were on their side of policy question just simply reading new meaning into the constitution but actually amending the constitution which is a really important process.
