Kwame Christian: I don't necessarily think ambition itself is inherently American. He says that the kind of capitalistic, hyper self-reliant belief that all achievement comes solely from one's own hard work does feel very tethered to America's founding ideologies. "I see it as a great disconnect in belief with people who are under probably 45 thinking, we've all been fettly ambitious," he said.
