Aristotle loves the contemplative life. He says, it's the way the gods live. Many people who have essentially active lives could carve out some time for contemplative activity. So instead of going on a beach vacation, you could come and spend a week at like an event sponsored by the Thomistic Institute and the Institute for Human Ecology. Wouldn't that be great? If we could do that, we should try. Now, in the rest, so that's, I'm done with this introductory look at Aristotle's ethics. In the other three lectures that I'll be giving this week, I'm going to be talking about friendship.
