Andrew Keen: Silicon Valley bank failed because of two big issues. He says they had a massive influx of deposits that was downstream from zero rates and easy money. The amount of loans they do don't even come close to the amount of deposits, he says. Keen: They shifted to buying long term treasuries which pay 1.4%. But if you buy it for a year, the about your earning on that is very low.
