The Importance of Owning the Decision
I like owning the decision mainly because it creates a sense of accountability with whatever you're providing. The challenge there I feel like is that the consulting firm is not super accountable to the decision that's being made. Because they're not accountable, you're not as incentivized to do as throw of a job to make sure it's actually the right recommendation. Of course, you know, people are doing good analysis, but the incentives are just not quite there.
