Delegates or the Community?

I'm curious what your experience was like of how either delegates or the community stepped up in that time of challenge. I wouldn't want to call what Bitcoin's done a great success until the protocol has replaced the centralized platform. But you know, the cool thing is that I'm going to go like office space office space printer on that C platform when it's done.
