Is Citizen Kane the Greatest Film Ever?

The film in the weeds is one of these films we've talked about this before that is more culturally important than it is good. So if we're going to award John Ford for a lesser John Ford film and ignore Citizen Kane then there's something that we can begin to appreciate and articulate about like the great artwork and why it cannot be awarded generally or popularly. Like Rite of Spring I think is a great example like people wanted to burn the theater down you know or or for somebody else that happened in a theater, right? Right rules the game someone really did start a fire.
