The King of Chef, Chef of Kings, Agusta Scaffier

Georges Agusta Scaffier was known as the King of Chef, Chef of Kings. He revolutionized food preparation and restaurant dining in ways that are still part of just about any meal you would be served today. His parents were Jean Baptiste Escofier, who's a blacksmith, and Madeline Cevat. They had no formal education, but they taught their children to read and write from a priest.
