Synthetic Embryos
Some labs have first taken embryonic stem cells and made some genetic changes in them. When you mix these cells together, it turns out that they will aggregate. This is very significant in the sense that if this is a genuine embryo, then you're right back into the ethical minefield of exploiting vulnerable human beings.
