The Art Gallery's Decision Not to Disqualify This Portrait

Taylor Wissing Photographic Portrait Prize is dedicated to showcasing the best in contemporary portrait. There are occasions when particularly compelling portraits raise interesting questions about the genre of portrait. And these may be included at the judge's discretion. The art gallery says the gallery has decided not to disqualify this portrait though, except it is a breach of the rules.
