The Shepherds of Israel, O, Daughter of My People
prophet ezekiel: My sheep have become food for all the wild beasts since there was no shepherd. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths that they may not be food for them. No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. Behold, i judge between sheep and sheep rams and he goats. The wicked are not removed. Refuse silver. They are called for the lord has rejected them. Our hands fall helpless. Anguish has taken hold of us, pain as of a woman with labor pains. Terror is on every side. O, daughter of my people. Put on sackcloth and roll in ashes. Make mourning as for an only son. Most bitter lamentation
