The Pros and Cons of Public Housing

The median amount of time that a family in New York City has spent in public housing is 20 years. Housing meant to be temporary for people who have hit a rough patch, has become a multi-generational trap. I absolutely concede that progressives so-called running cities have not done well by their poorer residents. Why do we have the kind of city that we have? Because we actually don't have a city that creates the possibility of good paying jobs and affordable housing for the majority of its residents.
