Mike Holyshed: Slate prized surprise and to just say the thing that the audience wanted because you felt like they wanted to hear it, or that you had to. That was not in the ethos of sleep. I always did my show like that. So maybe things changed around me, but i'm always going to be the kind of guy who knew what my audience needed and wanted to hear. A search of the slate website will turn up 231 results for the word nigge, n i g g a and for the word nigger. You can still find these dangerous words, which may have been typed which suggest they were probably thought by white people.
