China has fused private and popular to an extent that there is really no room, no free room at all. In China, China's been the greatest innovative nation in the world over the last 40 years, but they invented absolutely nothing. That is a reason why post Donald Trump, as well as Joe Biden,. their technology industry as quickly as that, as they're doing. They're completely reliant on the Western knowledge and on Western science. And bulk of fundamental research is wasted for the sake of finding one or two discoveries that actually could make a significant difference. It doesn't have immediate commerciality - it doesn't have any immediate impact. Do you eliminate any free space between government and private enterprise
