The Snack Table Was a Wreck
The oak hill's elementary caracel was on fire. Candy wrappers and abandoned plates sticky with sauce or frosting, stacked precariously high. I noticed that some well meaning adult had attempted to include a vedgi platter on the snack table. The untouched circle of green was like a secret garden among the trash. No wonder ashley got sick. There was no telling which animal each kid would choose, despite the full year they had spent learning about them. And even if they didn't, once you'rein the carasel raw instinct takes over.
