Young women have this impossible, misguided idea of purity projected on to them from a very young age. It makes the psychological and implications of early sexual interactions like impossible to work through. The suggestion that purity is something that hinges upon your sexual interactions with people is absolutely inexcusable in the context of sexual assault. And after years of being told that they are responsible for not only their own purity, but the purity of the men and boys around them,. After associating sexual desire with depravity and shame, the feelings can haunt your relationship with your body for a long ime. But again, thank you so much for sharing.
