The Role of Deforestation in Climate Change

forests serve as both a source of omissions through deforestation, but they're also carbon and remove a net seven point six billion tons of carbon dioxide each year. A lot of countries around the world have incorporated forest ry into the climate pledges under the paris agreement. What really needs to happen is fossil fule omissions need to come down. You can't carry on offsetting them against natural background.
