Sequence: What Comes First?

You can't enter in and you can't be born again. You can't be saved. So what's God's remedy for that deadness? Send Jesus into the world as the light of the world and the life to lay down his life for us, John 10, 15. He got seeing, believing, being born again. And I'm asking the questions of sequence here. Should we even think in terms of a temporal sequence? Which comes first?
