The Odds That You've Found Bitcoin Mining

The odds that you eventually hit that right hash are just taking. Oh, for people who don't know, a salt is a salt is very simple. It's something that you add to all of your keys that just make the hashing work differently. And so if someone lets it gets ahold of your database, but they don't know your salt because they don't have the source code, then there's certain tricks that they can't use. The reason why they use salt is not to try and find better hash functions, but it's to the idea  the salt is something that you as the programmer know, but someone on the outside doesn't know.
