The French Drop Trick

The trick relies on the knowledge that your thumb is going behind the item to be grabbed. The marmosets, because they don't have an opposable thumb, can't imagine someone using a hidden thumbs to grab food out of their hand. This result adds to growing evidence that living creatures perception is shaped by their abilities. When we observe someone doing something, the same nerves fire in our brain which would use those physical aspects of ourselves as well.
