Under socialism, under communism, the education of people is taken very seriously. So I spend a lot of time thinking about what are the sorts of reforms that we would need in the education system. The right in this country has spent decades trying to attack and undermine the idea of equal access and robust public education for everybody regardless of income. It's also about recognizing that there is no such thing as neutral education. All education is ultimately ideological.
