Stalingrad: A State of Siege

Stalin orders General Moscowenko's first guard's army, which is ordered to attack south and link up of the second, 60 second army. But they don't start attacking until the 3rd of September. And to be brutally honest, they don't get a whole very far at all. So effectively, 62nd Army is surrounded in Stalingrad. The difference for sick farming when they are in turn encircled is that 62nd Army has got the lifeline of the Volga.
