We were using a fully customized version of Moodle. We're able to add anything we want with HTML, CSS and all that. And I went into Moodle itself and found out in the settings that you could just inline code up. It's moving around some text and styling some colors,. Or adding some colors and those type of things. The last one here, or no second last, excuse me, is graphics and drawing. Now this is more of a hobby than a professional thing, but people will draw things, icons, logos, characters, pictures. They're often drawn with vanilla CSS. Some of them are intentionally limit to the point where they're only supported in Chrome or IE
