The Importance of Foundational Thinking
i like to do kind of drill down foundational type thinking and i think you know i've done a whole bunch of projects in my life. The thing that i've worked very hard on is being able to say do i really understand this? It takes a certain humility to realize i don't really quite understand this, he says. You can just sort of avoid the part you don't understand but it's often not true because what happened in the development of the field of its science technology whatever else there was a foundational thing done now we're multiple generations later.
