The History of Boredom

With more free time to kill these days, we all know a slow drag of boredom. The practice of leisure going back to the early church was really trying to set up very simple ways that you can just attend to something. Kierkegaard calls it the root of all evil; Heidegger says philosophy begins in the nothingness of boredom. In 2007, humanity finally achieves the cure for all boredom when the first iPhone was created.
