Putin's Psychological Response to the Crimean Revolution
Putin reacted by seizing Crimea with little or no bloodshed and ultimately giving some support to separatists. I think that almost any Russian leader would have done what he did, says CNN's John Defterios. But yeah, it was very clear at that point in time that the West was well on its way to making Ukraine a Western bulwark on Russia's border. And that was just unacceptable.
