Best Practices for Open Source

For maintainers, I'd say one is be kind. And any particular bad actor person conversation that you're not comfortable with, shut it down immediately. The second is having a regular cadence of response to your contributors. Trust me, like there is absolutely, you know, everybody's code is crap. Everybody writes not so great code or has written great code in their lives. It's okay. But because it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. So you don't run 100 meter dashes. You kind of pace yourself for the long haul.
