Love Is a Choice, It's a Love
The human person is a composite of body and soul, perfect in some respects but imperfect in others. Every agent acts for an end, for a purpose, for a good - St. Thomas says that's one way to think about love. What separates us from everything else is our appetite, it's a chosen love. We can only choose what we want, what we think we can perfect us; we can also choose the steps to take to reach it.
