The Importance of Personal Conservation and Recycling

I would not be surprised to discover or to have it confirmed over the next decade that we are in many respects already in the time of too late. The notion of personal conservation and recycling, I mean, these are nominally important things but honestly, as I said to a guy here in the village the other day, recycling your personal plastic that comes out of your house is basically like changing your socks. It has that degree of consequence in the wider world. Let's just not delude ourselves to thinking that this is all we have to do,. And if enough of us recycle our plastic, then the climate will readjust itself and the dolphins will be swimming in the canals of Venice.
