The Power of Myth
Human beings are storytellers, we're makers of meaning. You can fill the gaps in your understanding with negative stories or helpful stories. And it's I think what makes us human actually. We've got this sort of sophisticated rational world view which makes it hard for us to accept even the creative stories of what the world's about. But yeah I think it's just inevitable.
