Professor Gary Saul-Morsen is a Lawrence B. Dumas Professor of the Arts and Humanities at Northwestern University. He teaches undergraduate courses on the novels of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy and graduate courses on single Russian novels like Anna Karenina, War and Peace, the Brothers Karamazov and the Idiot. The author of numerous books including the forthcoming Wonder Confront Certainty, Russian Writers on the Timeless Questions and Why Their Answers Matter.
