In the late Roman Republic and early Roman Empire Rome had a huge problem with pirates. The senate decided to put one guy in charge of suppressing the pirates, Pompey Pompey who was after called Pompey rate because of pulling off of this ship. He's still considered one of the greatest generals of all time he's like the Elon Musk of like killing Gauls right you know?
