The Sibiline Books: A History of Claudius

Claudius reigns for a very short time, about two years and this is one of the reasons why he's actually a very good ancestor for the Constantine dynasty. So they had to choose someone who was a great leader but didn't have a bad reputation. He heads off then at the head of his army to sacrifice himself which I'm saying a bit different than the position of his army. This is a Gothic invasion at this point.
