What I'm Doing With Analogue Books
On the very last page of a huge book, which is blank, usually wright the end cover, i create an alternate index so i basically list out topics and ideas that seem to be important and recurring in that volume. And then next to each of them, i start listing out the page numbers where they occur. On those pages, i have obviously highlighted the respective passage, and i have a little sot of sticky tab on the side so i can find it. But it's basically er an index based not on key words, which is what a standard book index is based on, but based on key ideas. I use that then to sort of synthesize what those ideas are once
