What Is It Like to Get in the Water?
Diving in a canal can be difficult, as the water is murky and there's no visibility. Divers have to keep their eyes open so they don't see shadows or alligators. Once you find an alligator it can be startling because you're not looking for things any more - you're feeling for them.
