Is It Hydrophobic Soil?

There was this really weird weird case where there'd been a UFO sighting in Kansas. They did get to a spot where the soil was suddenly like behaving in very strange ways. It actually soaks up water instead of kicking it away. And at least the soil experts that they had were like, "We don't really got an explanation for this"
